Great news! We finished fifth in last week’s election of Best Workplaces of the Netherlands in the “Best Medium Size” employer category, an achievement we can be proud of! Anne van der Heide tells more about it.

Anne van der Heide, Happiness Officer: “Hundreds of companies participate in this election every year, and to be among the top five best workplaces in the Netherlands is a truly fantastic result. Next year we will participate again and go for an even higher spot on the list.”

Independent research

“We participate in this election every year so that we can have independent research among all Bizzomates. Therefore, everyone completed a comprehensive survey about us as an employer. Questions included effective and bold leadership, trust, values, innovativeness and maximizing potential. Each year we may also add some questions of our own. This year we looked at what appreciation looks like for the Bizzomates and whether everyone feels appreciated enough.”

“More than 90 percent completed the survey, giving the results a reliable picture of how we are perceived as an employer. Anne: “We are especially proud this year of our camaraderie score of 98 percent. This means that we are ‘growing together,’ really putting our mission into practice. Also, the fact that we scored 100 percent on ‘making mistakes is allowed’ and ‘getting a lot of personal responsibility,’ means that autonomy and growth really come first with us. Really great to see.”

“The survey also shows that we can further improve satisfaction among our medior consultants,” he said. These are the people who have often experienced the greatest growth in a short period of time and we want to start supporting this group even better in the coming year with their challenges. Through our Sprint change interviews, the use of focus groups and our buddy system, we hope to make it easier for them to grow into senior consultants.”
